The program is growing, and we seek a Business Operations Analyst to join our team and be responsible for end-to-end program operations management. The Business Operations Analyst will support day-to-day program health and help drive projects by focusing on operations, data management, and metrics analysis to improve program impact. Be an experienced Data Generalist and IT Business Analyst who can build, update, and maintain efficient operations and processes; automate for scale; and proactively remove roadblocks in support of our educational ecosystem mission to deliver excellent service and experience to customers. This person will thrive working on a variety of different projects and have a background that demonstrates this ability.

What you'll get to do

  • You will apply your expertise in business operations and analytic tools to ensure various aspects of the program run efficiently and effectively, with a focus on data management, process management, and project management.

Data Management

  • Be a data guru - be the point of contact for all data questions and insights for the program - for the academic audience and internal stakeholders
  • Support the collection, measurement, and analysis of program-wide key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics
  • Develop and present regular reports to program lead and executive leadership, highlighting key insights and providing actionable recommendations
  • Implement data-driven decision-making processes within the program team to ensure data integrity, informed and effective planning, and execution.
  • Collect and analyze relevant data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement within and across projects to ensure excellent customer experiences

Process Management

  • Monitor daily program operations and problem solve challenges that arise
  • Optimize processes and ensure tasks and workflows are aligned to goals and metrics
  • Optimize processes, identify problems and inefficiencies and partner across the Cisco/Splunk ecosystem to improve procedures and productivity.

Project Management

  • Manage and process program member applications
  • Support and service customer operational critical needs (e.g. access to systems)
  • Ensure policies and process are well documented and communicated
  • Support program team to drive initiatives that align to program goals and help scale

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of engineering, analysis, statistics, product operations or equivalent experience.
  • Outstanding SQL skills. Your ability to tap into our data pipeline will be the key to your success.
  • Good understanding of data structures, pipelines and use of relational databases. Experience with data instrumentation, interpretation and visualization tools (ETL Tools, Splunk, Tableau).
  • Good understanding of cloud-based spreadsheets and platforms designed for collaboration, project management, workflows and reporting (Excel, Smartsheet, Google sheets, Airtable)
  • Fluency in data analysis, including experimentation, data visualization, defining KPIs, and communication around data to inform the success of the program and the business.
  • Diligent with outstanding organizational skills. Able to navigate between multiple projects, meet timelines, and process ad hoc requests.
  • Solid grasp of enterprise technology sales methodologies and practices, Multi-channel business models, CRM (and outbound marketing applications and processes)
  • Successful track record in working on multi-functional, cross-team projects.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, strong analytical skills, and ability to deal with ambiguity and inspire change in a constantly evolving business environment.
  • Ability to work across multi-functional groups and ensure ability to influence and implement across groups
  • A passion for technology and an ability to identify new opportunities for efficiency and productivity
  • nowledge of the Learning & Development - LMS systems, learning and lab delivery operations and related platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of topics related to technology and skilling in Higher Education

Base Pay Range

Costa Rica

Base Pay: CRC 28,000,000.00 - 38,500,000.00 per year

Splunk provides flexibility and choice in the working arrangement for most roles, including remote and/or in-office roles. We have a market-based pay structure which varies by location. Please note that the base pay range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location as set out above, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for incentive compensation and may be eligible for equity or long-term cash awards.
