Role Summary

This position will lead an outstanding team of AMER-based field marketers who own the regional and industry-focused marketing strategies that support pipeline generation and progression. We are looking for a hands-on leader with a deep knowledge of sales-focused marketing who can work closely with sales leadership to understand the needs of the business and ensure marketing plans are aligned.
This leader will manage marketing processes, budget, technology, data, relevant communications, and analytics to drive strategy, planning, execution, and measurement of marketing events and programs within their team.

What you'll get to do

  • Recruit, , lead, and mentor a team of strong AMER field marketing managers.
  • Consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual plans to grow demand by activating a diversified mix of marketing channels.
  • Get hands-on with customer data and market insights to inform planning, budgeting, and execution.
  • Own progress monitoring and ensure effective project management across the team in alignment with greater go-to-market strategies.
  • Empower the team to be strategic partners to sales by using data insights to deeply understand the business of their aligned field team.
  • Optimise the full-funnel customer experience by leading collaboration efforts with key internal partners to ensure a cohesive GTM approach.
  • Effectively advocate across the organization for both marketing and sales to drive alignment and focus to achieve mutual goals.

Must-have Qualifications

  • At minimum, eight or more years with B2B marketing experience in leadership roles with a track record of working directly with a sales organisation, ideally in the software/SaaS space.
  • Insights-driven approach to pipeline and demand generation strategies.
  • A self-starter with a positive and open-minded approach to planning and delivering to achieve pipeline targets (i.e. not afraid to think creatively and experiment).
  • Managing processes to optimize performance and team output.
  • Familiar with financial planning and strategy.

Base Pay Range

SF Bay Area, Seattle Metro, and New York City Metro Area

Base Pay Range: $193,600.00 - 266,200.00 per year

California (excludes SF Bay Area), Washington (excludes Seattle Metro), Washington DC Metro, and Massachusetts

Base Pay Range: $174,240.00 - 239,580.00 per year

All other cities and states excluding California, Washington, Massachusetts, New York City Metro Area and Washington DC Metro Area.

Base Pay Range: $156,800.00 - 215,600.00 per year

Splunk provides flexibility and choice in the working arrangement for most roles, including remote and/or in-office roles. We have a market-based pay structure which varies by location. Please note that the base pay range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location as set out above, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for incentive compensation and may be eligible for equity or long-term cash awards.
