Role Summary:
We are looking for a flexible and skilled Production Designer to join our in-house design team. This role will report to the Manager, Design Production and collaborate with senior designers on a variety of projects, including events, brand campaigns, and email marketing initiatives, ensuring creative consistency and high-quality design execution across both digital and print channels. As a Production Designer, you will have a hands-on role in day-to-day production requests as well as template development in PowerPoint for keynote presentations. You will be responsible for creating and managing design assets across multiple platforms and media, with a strong emphasis on Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign) and PowerPoint.
What you’ll get to do:
  • Support the production of ongoing creative projects across multiple pods in Splunk’s in-house design studio using Workfront to track deadlines and requests.
  • Develop and maintain sets of branded, coordinated templates to produce marketing assets and develop new standards as needed for keynote presentations and digital event collateral.
  • Update and maintain foundational assets including graphics standard guidelines, event guidelines, brand playbooks, icon libraries, PowerPoint templates, corporate presentation decks, and more.
  • Collaborate with web, email, brand, and experience designers to ensure brand and creative consistency.
  • Assist brand designers in using proper structure and file hygiene when building resources.
  • Execute tasks efficiently using Figma, Adobe Creative Suite and PowerPoint.
  • Work closely with project managers and other team members to ensure deadlines are met and potential issues are addressed in a timely manner.
  • Communicate and manage workload effectively in a remote work environment.
  • Make suggestions for continuous process improvement and demonstrate the ability to solve problems creatively.
Must-have Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5-7+ years of experience in graphic design and production, including print and digital.
  • Strong proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (emphasis on InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop) and PowerPoint.
  • Can-do attitude with the ability to push execution forward while appropriately navigating any roadblocks.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple designers and stakeholders in a remote work environment.
  • Solid knowledge of and experience with applying design best practices and production techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills across different mediums and strong interpersonal skills for working across multi-functional internal teams.
  • Demonstrated success in multi-tasking on a variety of project needs with project manager support.
  • Inherent sense of ownership and responsibility toward delivering projects on time.
  • Experience in design/creative agencies or in-house teams and internships is a plus.
  • Portfolio of experience should include collateral, signage, web banners, social media graphics, email templates and PowerPoint work.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  • Advanced knowledge of Figma.
  • Experience with OneDrive, Sharepoint, Workfront, Adobe Experience Manager and/or HTML5 a plus.
  • BS or BA degree in Graphic Design, We Design, or a similar discipline. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience, or training.

Base Pay Ranges
For sales & marketing roles the ranges are expressed as On Target Earning or OTE (OTE = base + incentives in the form of sales incentive plans).
 
SF Bay Area, Seattle Metro, and New York City Metro Area
 
On Target Earnings: $108,000 - $148,500 per year
 
California (excludes SF Bay Area), Washington (excludes Seattle Metro), New York (excludes NYC Metro Area), and all other states.
 
On Target Earnings: $ 97,200 - $133,650 per year
 
All other cities and states excluding California, Washington, Massachusetts, New York City Metro Area and Washington DC Metro Area.
 
On Target Earnings: $ 86,400 - $118,800 per year
 
Splunk provides flexibility and choice in the working arrangement for most roles, including remote and/or in-office roles. We have a market-based pay structure which varies by location. Please note that the On Target Earnings (OTE) range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the OTE pay will vary based on factors such as work location as set out above, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate. In addition to OTE, this role may be eligible for equity or long-term cash awards.

Base Pay Range: $108,000.00 - 148,500.00 per year

California (excludes SF Bay Area), Washington (excludes Seattle Metro), Washington DC Metro, and Massachusetts

Base Pay Range: $97,200.00 - 133,650.00 per year

All other cities and states excluding California, Washington, Massachusetts, New York City Metro Area and Washington DC Metro Area.

Base Pay Range: $86,400.00 - 118,800.00 per year
