Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack, Observability Infrastructure Monitoring

About the Role
Responsibilities
- Understand the business scenarios, collaborate with UI/UX designers, Product Managers, and customers to explore and brainstorm new features which yield business value.
- Lead or own the design of new features and drive the implementations.
- Is accountable for identifying and driving to clean up technical debts
- Follow the best software development practices, and hold the high engineering bar for the team by regularly leading design, code review and test plan reviews.
- Identify improvement opportunities in areas of engineering excellence and operation excellence and implement them successfully.
- Participate in on-call rotations, post-incident reviews, and other operational duties as needed to ensure service delivery quality
- Responsible for debugging and providing solutions or fixes to customer reported issues or requirements.
- Contribute to grow junior engineers through design & code review, technical talks, mentoring, pair-programming, and etc.
Requirements
- Experience in building sophisticated web applications including frontend and backend components, from architecture design to implementation and testing.
- Good understanding of microservices and distributed application architecture
- Ability to partner with designers, Product Management, QA, Doc Writers and other multi-functional teams
- Proficiency in frontend programming languages such as JavaScript and TypeScript; Good knowledge of 1 or more JS frameworks, e.g. React, Backbone or Angular
- Proficiency in one or more backend programming languages, such as Go, Java or Python
- Proficiency in developing and working with thoughtfully crafted HTTP APIs, such as REST or GraphQL
- Solid knowledge and experience with at least one cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Passionate about building sophisticated and powerful user interfaces to tackle customer problems.
- Experience with 1 or more relational databases & NoSQL databases is a plus.
- Experience of working with containerization technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Capable of solving problems through uncertainty and ambiguity.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related majors; 8+ years of relevant proven experience

Base Pay Range
India
Base Pay: INR 3,200,000.00 - 4,400,000.00 per year

Please note that the base pay range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location as set out above, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for incentive compensation and may be eligible for equity or long-term cash awards.
