Role Summary
What you’ll get to do
- Familiarity with FedRamp a preference
- Lead calls and interactive discussions with account teams and customers.
- Develop solutions and deployment guidance for our most complex engagements.
- Work multi-functionally to get support from Cloud Operations, Cloud Engineering, Splunk partners, and Support.
- You will become an expert at Splunk data ingest, working with clients to deliver well-architected Splunk forwarding solutions both on-prem and in the cloud.
- Drive standard methodologies, automation, and process improvements.
- Design and perform customer deployments.
- Connect with leadership and provide observations from the field that may help improve or adjust the overall program and provide a better product.
- Participate in business and strategy planning meetings.
Must-have Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in computer science, computer engineering, finance, mathematics or related field, or have 2-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Demonstrate strong business and technical acumen.
- Experience with both the Unix and Windows operating systems; comfortable on the command line interface.
- Experience with shell scripting.
- Experience working within a hosted cloud environment, AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Comfortable working on a Global team, where the primary working language is English.
Nice-to-have Qualifications
- Demonstrate experience with PowerShell.
- Exhibit domain expertise in Security, IT Ops, Application Management, and/or DevOps.
- Hold Splunk certifications and/or have validated experience with Splunk.
- Display self-motivation and a dedication to self-education, while also being open to collaborative work with both customers and fellow Splunkers.
- Showcase strong communication skills (verbal and written) and a track record of working directly with customers, leading technical discussions.
- Maintain a well-organized approach with a healthy sense of urgency, and demonstrate the ability to set, communicate, and meet ambitious deadlines and achievements.
- Thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, and constantly evolving environment.
- Have relevant software validated experience in areas such as IT systems, enterprise or infrastructure management, application development and management, security, and/or analytics.

Base Pay Range
SF Bay Area, Seattle Metro, and New York City Metro Area
Base Pay Range: $133,600.00 - 183,700.00 per year
California (excludes SF Bay Area), Washington (excludes Seattle Metro), Washington DC Metro, and Massachusetts
Base Pay Range: $120,240.00 - 165,330.00 per year
All other cities and states excluding California, Washington, Massachusetts, New York City Metro Area and Washington DC Metro Area.
Base Pay Range: $106,880.00 - 146,960.00 per year
Splunk provides flexibility and choice in the working arrangement for most roles, including remote and/or in-office roles. We have a market-based pay structure which varies by location. Please note that the base pay range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location as set out above, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for incentive compensation and may be eligible for equity or long-term cash awards.
