Who We Are 

 Spire Health is building the future of remote patient monitoring. We give physicians insights into their patients' health between doctor visits, helping them better manage patients with chronic respiratory illnesses. In particular, we serve patients in the U.S. who have chronic respiratory diseases (COPD, Asthma) with a novel sensor and algorithm system that identifies changes in a patient's health. We focus our efforts on patients identified by their doctor as good candidates for our monitoring program and enroll them at little to no cost to the patient. 

 Position Overview 

The Patient Enrollment Specialist (PES) is responsible for driving patient enrollment into Spire Health’s remote patient monitoring (RPM) program.  The PES will handle inbound and outbound calls to patients throughout different stages of the enrollment process and assist the field sales team with lead generation and scheduling in-person enrollment visits with the account management team. Duties include: marketing, first contact (email, SMS, phone call) obtaining patient intent to enroll in the RPM program, patient insurance and personal information verification, answering patient questions, verbal consent, order placing and patient onboarding coordination with our clinical team.  The PES will receive an hourly rate plus a quarterly bonus based on key performance indicators (KPIs) established by the patient enrollment management team. 

 Responsibilities 

  • Manage, track and follow up on leads and multiple campaigns in the CRM while adhering to scripts and SOPs 
  • Demonstrated ability to concisely explain medical technologies and procedures in a compelling way to patients 
  • Ability to manage and address patient concerns and objections 
  • Obtain and properly document legally binding verbal consent from patient 
  • Document every interaction in the CRM including call outcomes, proper call disposition(s), and interaction notes when applicable  
  • Work cross-departmentally to facilitate timely and accurate patient insurance verification prior to onboarding 
  • Keep up to date with latest marketing initiatives and product changes and updates 
  • Provide feedback and work to continually improve processes and lead conversion rates 
  • Ability to receive feedback regarding performance and productivity 
  • Ability to pivot and quickly learn new systems and processes 
  • Ability to use a CRM and call center dialer system(s) simultaneously 
  • Perform additional tasks defined by patient enrollment management team 

 Qualifications  

  • High school diploma or GED (required) 
  • 3+ years experience in high volume sales (required) 
  • 2+ years experience proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals with high lead conversion rates (required) 
  • Bilingual - English and Spanish (preferred) 
  • Experience with insurance verification a plus 
  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems  
  • Experience with Five9 or other call center dialing systems  
  • Experience in a HIPAA or FDA regulated environment 
  • Experience with medical devices or working in the medical field; pulmonology experience a plus 
  • Excellent communication, call closing and presentation skills  
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to coordinate cross-departmentally  

Job Type: Full-time, Direct Hire 

Pay: Hourly Rate + Bonus (Paid Quarterly)

Schedule: Monday to Friday (no weekends or holidays); 9:00am – 5:30pm EST or 8:30am – 5:00pm CST (based on work location)
