Our core expertise and IP is in continuous respiratory sensing. Spire Remote Patient Monitoring is used by pulmonologists and patients throughout the United States.
Position Description:
The IT Support Specialist will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to end-users in a timely and efficient manner. The IT Support Specialist will be responsible for installing and configuring computer hardware (Mac and PC), software (mostly SaaS), peripherals, and troubleshooting and resolving any related software and hardware issues. The IT Support Specialist will work closely with other IT staff and technical staff to ensure that computer systems and software are operating effectively and efficiently.
This role will be primarily responsible for ensuring that any issues related to user devices and deployed software are resolved quickly and efficiently. The successful candidate will have a strong troubleshooting ability while also providing world class customer service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Providing technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
- Troubleshooting and resolving software and hardware issues via phone, email, or in-person.
- Maintaining network connectivity at the SF office, troubleshoot office conference equipment as needed.
- Creating documentation and providing training to end-users on how to use computer systems and software.
- Resolving logged errors in a timely manner.
- Monitoring hardware, software, and system performance metrics.
- Handling the onboarding and offboarding users. Escalate privileges as needed.
- Performing data backups and ensuring data security.
- Managing inventory of hardware and software.
- Collaborate with other IT staff to resolve complex technical issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in IT support.
- Experience with Windows and Mac operating systems.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware and software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload.
- Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+) are preferred.

Salary: $55K - $82K BOE
