About the Position: The Firmware Engineering Manager works with Systems Engineering, Product Management, App SW
Development, Complaints and Data Science to identify, prioritize, architect and specify, manage and deliver
necessary FW projects.

● Function as the central firmware expert/leader within the organization
● Hands on leader able to code, test and deploy small projects
● Identify the need for and manage contractors and consultants to deliver on larger FW engineering
● Develops requirements, development plans, test plans and risk management solutions. Provide technical
solutions for developing BLE, Cybersecurity and low power firmware
● Develop/utilize models, characterization testing, analysis methods, and statistics to optimize designs
● Good communication skills with the ability to work with all levels of the organization
● Understand embedded system requirements and interface specifications at a deep level
● Influence architectural decisions and organizational processes
● Contributes to company Workflows, Systems and Operations
● Engages in the company’s Quality Management system

● BA/BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, related technical field, or equivalent experience.
● 8-10 years of increasingly complex FW development into a leadership role
● Preference for developing products in a regulated industry such as Aviation, Automotive, Medical
● Experience developing internal or customer-facing products that address technically challenging problems
