Description

Reports directly to the Director of Billing and Revenue Cycle. This position supervises our remote base Billing Specialist(s). Ensures they have all the resources to carry out role, resolves staffing issues and helps answer questions, with a high focus on productivity. Responsible for onboarding and training new staff. Serves as liaison between multiple teams which include customer service, clinical, patient recruitment, among others. Is a main point of contact for our customers, helping to troubleshoot patient and billing related concerns. Trains new and existing customers on proper billing. Owns the process of sending monthly Invoices and Pt Details to our customers, along with pushing charges from Retool to customers EMR. Assists with financial reports, profit analysis, and generating patients lists. Completes projects and/or other tasks as assigned.   

 

Although primarily remote, this position may require occasional travel to either our Brooklyn/NYC office and/or any of our customer locations throughout the United States.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 5+ years of billing experience; preferably in a healthcare setting
  • 1+ years of supervisory experience required
  • 1+ years of generating reports and/or analyst related work required
  • Complete understanding of the Revenue Cycle 
  • Must be able to multitask
  • Problem solver, self-sufficient, and attentive to detail
