We are looking for a Director of Marketing for Asia Pacific based in Australia. This marketing leader will be a trusted advisor working closely with the GM and sales team to grow our business across the region.  This leader will demonstrate adept expertise and experience to develop a regional marketing strategy and plans that grow and accelerate pipeline generation, elevate our brand’s eminence and advance new opportunities with our existing client base.  This position requires a hands-on, roll up your sleeves type of leader than can plan, execute and measure properly the marketing impact for the region.  The Director of Marketing Asia Pacific will collaborate closely with the global marketing team as well as well as other key business leaders. The role will report directly to the Global Leader of Geo Marketing and dotted line to the Asia Pacific General Manager.

Responsibilities 

  • Build metrics-based regional marketing plan, designed to meet and exceed pipeline targets, growth market share and demonstrate a high ROI on marketing spend.
  • Be the voice of the region: meet regularly with regional leadership and account executives to know and understand what’s happening in market, what’s working and what’s not, and the competitive landscape.
  • Teaming with sales, cultivate net-new demand and strategies to attack untapped market potential including new personas, industries, and regions. .
  • Use data and analytics to draw insights & continually optimize campaigns; report & inform internal stakeholders of performance.
  • Work with your corporate and other geography marketing teammates to share best practices, drive innovative marketing and communications
  • Identify and deliver the right sales enablement and development assets for the region
  • Manage relevant agencies and 3rd parties in the execution of programs
  • Develop channel partner marketing strategy, plans and execution in conjunction with respective regional partners
  • Identify, organize, and manage effective events.

 Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or equivalent discipline
  • 10+ years of proven B2B field marketing experience
  • Experience marketing enterprise software solutions is a major plus.
  • Proficient user of sales and marketing automation tools with sound understanding of the integration between the two (for example, Salesforce.com and Pardot).
  • Above average communication skills are mandatory – both written and oral.
  • Proven track record of helping to expand consistent regional sales growth.
  • Strategic thinker but highly hands-on in order to execute tactically.
  • Self-starter, high-energy level, promoter, and good executor.
  • Can successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously.
