We have an immediate need for an experienced Oracle Middleware Administrator for 3rd Party Support based in the UK or Ireland. This role is full time & fully remote. 

Responsibilities 

  • This position is considered level 3/4 support.
  • Occasional after hours, weekends and holidays support for urgent customer issues.
  • Must have excellent customer focus and communication, friendly interaction and passion to help customers with their software issues.
  • Ability to troubleshoot customer issues in an environment where online and remotely connected to the customer’s systems.
  • Must have the ability to work within a close team environment.
  • Drive customer satisfaction by tracking issues from start to closure, minimizing aging cases. 

Requirements 

  • Experience with Oracle WebLogic (10+ years)
  • Knowledge of High Availability/DR environments
  • Install and configure various middleware systems/components according to business requirements
  • Configure, manage, and troubleshoot middleware systems/components
  • Tracing logs, collect Java core data, analyzing heap memory leakages, performance tuning
  • Oracle SOA, BPM, HTTP Server
  • Experience with Oracle Data Integrator and DAC. Knowledge of other ETL tools and methods is a plus
  • Experience with OLAP/Data Warehouse systems & best practices
  • Experience and knowledge to support all different components of Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE), Oracle Business Intelligence Applications (OBIA) and Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) are a plus
  • Admin Experience with OAM/OID and Oracle SSO are definite assets
