Director, Marketing - US (TEMP)

As Director, Marketing you will oversee global demand gen campaigns and pipeline driving activities across North America, EMEA, APAC and LATAM. This role will spearhead putting the marketing strategy into action by managing the execution game plan and overall campaign strategy to support content promotion, retargeting, and existing client retention, upsell/cross-sell opportunities, and net new client acquisition.

You will be the liaison between our Content, Product Marketing, Marketing Ops, Research, and Events teams to develop 1:1, 1:few, and 1:many programs designed to penetrate identified target accounts. This role is focused on leading the team responsible for demand generation campaigns across multiple channels, including digital advertising, email marketing, ABM, social media, SEM and PPC, client entertainment, swag, conversational marketing, direct mail, sales enablement, review sites/data marketplaces, and more. 

Your day-to-day:

  • Develop, lead, and coach team of 7 (and 3 indirect reports) to coordinate, implement, and manage multi-touch marketing campaigns to generate a high volume of quality leads and demand across all products/services/sales teams
    • Determine focus areas and key themes
    • Oversee and organize the workflow of the team
    • Provide guidance on prioritization of activities
    • QA, editing and review cycles
  • Collaborate and ensure alignment with marketing team leads to define integrated marketing program strategies and optimize full-funnel demand gen programs (including content ideation, research, new and existing products, and PR) 
  • Work closely with Marketing Operations for granular tracking, reporting, and efficient lead management in the handoff from marketing to sales, nurture strategies as well as financial planning and budgeting
  • Collaborate with sales management/enablement and translate company bookings targets to marketing campaign strategy, programs, and associated metrics. Understand how inbound marketing activity turns into customers, and continually refine process to convert prospects
  • Work with internal data SMEs to determine in-house intent use cases, data marketing places, and review sites; matching pixel accounts to current rep/BDR assignments, retargeting & TAL audience extension, closed loop reporting
  • Assist with integrated internal communication plans and ad hoc projects as needed
