You have extensive experience in the oversight and governance of the end-to-end Opportunity-To-Cash (O2C) systems. You enjoy bringing the world of systems and processes together and eliminating any unnecessary steps for end users.  You enjoy creating value through simplicity, but know it takes a lot of work to get there. 

You have delivered challenging technical solutions at scale. You are an expert influencer with the demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional consensus and who is comfortable with a fast-paced, often ambiguous environment. You want to be in the mix technically while serving as liaison to your business teams.

If this sounds like you, then, Spiceworks Ziff Davis has just the right role for you! We’re looking for an Associate Director of Opportunity to Cash Systems and Process to develop and refine the vision and strategy for the O2C end to end systems

 What will be your responsibilities? 

  • Develop and refine the vision and strategy for the Opportunity-To-Cash (O2C)  end to end systems, aligned to overall company strategy, and enabling the enterprise to serve customers in a highly productive, reliable, compliant and competitive fashion 
  • Determine where technology and automation can be appropriately deployed and define the functionality to support the O2C process
  • Understand the O2C current state, identify deficiencies and from that base of knowledge, prioritize needs, propose future organizational needs, and gain alignment to remediation plans with milestone timing to the cross-functional leadership team
  • Identify any material deviations from the process and work with the relevant cross-functional leadership to develop corrective action plans and enforce the process
  • Interpret and prioritize business needs across various stakeholders group including Sales Operations, Analytics, Finance, other Product Manager, and Delivery Operations 
  • Conceive and implement a self-audit process to proactively identify improvement opportunities which improve process value, increase compliance and reduce costs
  • Establish a robust feedback, corrective actions and communications process
  • Lead the challenge of internal thinking with a view towards ensuring continuous improvement of the O2C process and its implementation

 What does it take to do this job?

  • Passion for efficiency optimization is a must
  • Bachelor's degree in business, science or engineering
  • 8+ years relevant work experience in software product management or systems program management
  • 3+ years of relevant people management
  • Excellent team builder and talent developer
  • Executive presence, excellent influencing skills and the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization both orally and in written communication
  • Having worked with large teams on multitude of projects with a demonstrated ability to translate business needs into impactful outcomes
  • Analytical and critical thinking is a must
  • Exceptional independent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, flexibility, and ability to collaborate with others and to work in a fast-paced environment
  • A record of delivering initiatives from concept through completion
  • Ability to drive execution, staying ahead of dependencies, making smart trade-offs, coordinating dependencies, and maintaining communication throughout the organization
  • Excellent communications skills, both oral and written. Must be able to communicate effectively and confidently with users, team members and management
  • Ability to work some flexible hours due to varying time zones
  • Ability to work remotely and independently
