Your day-to-day (as a Client Success Manager, you’ll): 

  • Build great relationships with clients while consistently delivering successful outcomes for their Spiceworks Ziff Davis (SWZD) advertising and marketing campaigns 
  • Work with internal sales, creative, and product delivery teams to ensure all aspects of a client’s campaign are implemented correctly and performing at or above benchmarks and established KPIs
  • Experience in account management and managing B2B relationships.
  • Strong Client Management skills including soft skills, strategic thinking, and active listening.
  • Provide guidance through regular 1:1s and day-to-day coaching. Go-to for questions and helping team members understand how their individual efforts impact team goals and how the team goals relate to department goals, etc.
  • Gives direction and ensures individual goals and expectations are clear and each team member’s activity is aligned with success.
  • Motivates the team. Has a relentlessly positive attitude and motivates by example. We are all here to do great work and succeed. The Team Lead exemplifies this spirit.
  • Drives outcomes. Whether it’s a client campaign or an internal tool launch, everything we do has a desired outcome. The Team Lead is goal oriented and helps the team avoid distraction and overcome obstacles that put outcomes at risk.
  • Cross-team Bridge Builder. Delivering successful campaigns for our clients often involves multiple internal teams working together seamlessly. The Team Lead understands how each function works and coordinates with leaders from other teams to ensure we are operating efficiently and effectively.
  • Client health. Monitoring health of team’s campaigns and post booked status and communicate with corresponding leaders for escalations
  • Communicates effectively. Clear communication is an essential part of the Team Lead’s role. Relaying information between the team and company leaders as well as cross departmental communication is key to keeping everyone informed and aligned in real-time.
  •  Effective delegation and coordination of team efforts including direction and prioritization of the Client Coordinator’s day-to-day responsibilities.
  •  Serves as escalation point and sounding board for client issues
