Then, Spiceworks Ziff Davis has just the right role for you! We’re looking for an Associate Product Manager to partner with business, data and development teams to enable products & platforms that drive our organization’s revenue generation and its operations.

What you’ll do: As a SWZD Associate Product Manager you will identify, document, prioritize, and communicate the work that our engineering teams need to deliver based on quantifiable value to the business teams. This role will focus on our revenue products and its enabling systems (such as Salesforce, lead generation, email marketing, telemarketing, among others).

 What will be your responsibilities?

  • Partner with senior product managers to learn our portfolio of products and help set the long-term vision and strategy for the company’s products and services
  • Manage and own revenue enabling platforms (this includes custom applications, integrations with tele, lead managements and email systems among others)
  • Work with business and delivery teams to identify problem statements
  • Interpret and prioritize business needs across various stakeholders group including Delivery Operations, other Product Managers/Owners, Business Analytics and FP&A
  • Alleviate problem statements through R&D, discovery, process realignments and technology
  • Partner and collaborate with the engineering and data engineering & science teams to design and build and mature the platforms and applications
  • Provide product ops support and help resolve issues with revenue enabling systems
  • Document requirements as per the industry standard templates
  •  Define success metrics and SLAs on the key data products and services
  • Manage product health metrics
  • Be the perfect liaison between the engineering teams and the business teams
  • Work together with engineers on an Agile Scrum team to plan and execute project outcomes
  • Expectation setting with the business teams w.r.t. timelines and efforts
  • Formulate ways for businesses to improve by constantly finding ways to improve the processes and application


 What does it take to do this job?

  • Passion and the attitude to learn new things is a must
  • Bachelor's degree in business, science or engineering
  • 2+ years relevant work experience in software product management or 4+ years in Business Analytics for IT Services industry
  • Product management experience on revenue enabling or management systems is preferred
  • Exposure to email marketing platforms, data management & analytics is preferred
  • Having worked with large, distributed, global teams on multitude of projects with a demonstrated ability to translate business needs into impactful outcomes
  • Analytical and critical thinking is a must
  • Be humble and conscious that not all good ideas are yours, and not all ideas are good. Don’t be afraid to experiment, fail fast and cheap
  • Exceptional independent problem solving skills, attention to detail, flexibility, and ability to collaborate with others and to work in a fast-paced environment
  •  A record of delivering initiatives from concept through completion
  •  Ability to drive execution, staying ahead of dependencies, making smart trade-offs, coordinating dependencies, and maintaining communication throughout the organization
  • Excellent communications skills, both oral and written. Must be able to communicate effectively and confidently with users, team members and management
  • Ability to work some flexible hours due to varying time zones
  • Ability to work remotely and independently
