POSICIÓN:

Sheet Metal Supervisor

 

 

REPORTA A:

Metal Shop Superintendent

 

 

 

OBJETIVO/PROPOSITO:

Supervises employees in the fabrication, Installation and repair of sheet metal products and equipment

 

 

 

FUNCIONES/ RESPONSABILIDADES:

Describa   las metas, objetivos o funciones primarias para este puesto

 

 

  • Supervises, Assigns and coordinates the work activities of subordinates
  • Plans and developes work schedules, Equipment usage schedule and procedures for equipment maintenance
  • Monitors the use of material
  • Maintains time, work order, material and equipment records
  • Enforces safety regulations and adhears to company code and standards
  • Understands and Works with the computer programs in the production área
  • Meets Goals set by Management and provides input
  • Works with Quality to maintain defects to a mínimum

Computadora, impresora y extensión telefónica.

 

 

 

ESCOLARIDAD:

4 years of technical college or Training program

 

EXPERIENCIA:

5 years sheetmetal exp with mínimum one year supervisory exp.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

COMPETENCIAS / HABILIDADES

 

1. -

Knowledge  of supervisory  principles, practices and techniques

 

2. -

Knowledge of sheetmetal and welding techniques

 

3. -

Skill in fabrication, installation and repair of sheetmetal and related products or equipment

 

4. -

Skill in estimating time and material requirements of work projects assigned

 

5. -

Ability to communicate in English

 

6. -

Skill in both verbal and written communication

 

7. -

Lean Manufacturing experience (Preferable)

 

8. -

Excel Competency (Preferable)
