EHS Manager

Spellman High Voltage Electronics Corporation, a customer focused global provider of high voltage power supplies, X-Ray generator and Monoblocks® - provides custom products for medical diagnostic imaging, scientific research, security, industrial process controls, semiconductor manufacturing and undersea data transmission. 


Mexico will be responsible for the EHS department planning, Investigate Work Accidents, determine their causes and recommend preventive measures, Keeps and analyzes accident statistics. Develops rules and procedures related to the acquisition and provision of personal protective equipment. Plans, organizes and directs training programs for industrial safety and occupational hygiene material. Responsible for developing and implementing Safety, Environmental, Industrial Hygiene and Patrimonial Security programs. Applies administrative and technical systems and procedures for the execution or evaluation of projects. Ensure risk assessments to detect possible hazards and plan precautionary measures. Evaluate the workplace environment and develop management policies for Safety, Environmental, Industrial Hygiene and Patrimonial Security to identify and define responsibilities in each aspect of security. Implementation of internal projects, using best practices and seeking continuous improvement and cost savings reduction and / or control of adverse environmental impacts.
Manage and ensure environmental compliance and accident rates. Manage, ensure and maintain the ISO14001 Environmental Management system and achieve the expected results.
Keep senior management informed about the performance of the system considering its effectiveness in accordance with the requirements of the ISO14001 system. Maintain the commitment to prevent environmental pollution.


 A Bachelor’s Degree in Health and Safety required

 A minimum of 5 years of professional EHS experience, preferably.

 Experience and knowledge in handling the requirements applicable to EHS, ISO 14001   Environmental,   STPS and CTPAT.

Capable of managing projects effectively and setting priorities. Driven to deliver results, takes accountability and ownership of work through process improvement initiatives

 Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to utilize MS Outlook, Excel,

 Ability to encourage continuous improvement.

 Bilingual (English/Spanish)
