The Manager of ERP Development (based in our Hauppauge facility, OR remote reporting into Hauppauge) is responsible for:

  • defining and adhering to best practices for user account administration, and privilege management within the ERP system, and various business intelligence applications managed by the ERP department
  • defining and adhering to best practices for code development within the ERP system, and business intelligence applications, including Oracle PL/SQL objects
  • defining, implementing and maintaining our business intelligence applications including SSRS reports and metrics, SSAS/SSIS/XML interfaces, data warehouse, data cubes, and Power BI visualizations
  • adhering to predefined SLAs for HelpDesk tickets regarding user incidents and requests assigned to the ERP dept
  • collaborating with other IT team members outside of ERP, and at all sites on joint IT projects as required
  • managing a team of 8, including an ERP Administrator, ERP Developers, and a Business Intelligence Supervisor, who in-turn supervises BI Developers



  • Bachelor’s Degree is a must, preferably in a related field of study 
  • 10+ years of experience working with an ERP system in a manufacturing environment
    • Experience with Glovia ERP is a plus
  • 5-10 years of experience managing an ERP applications development team
  • Well-versed in ERP system process flows
  • Broad working knowledge of various ERP system modules used in a global manufacturing environment
  • Experience developing software functional and design specifications (including business logic flow diagramming, user interface layouts, and test plans
  • Experience managing software development projects and application implementation projects
    • Project Management certification is a plus
  • Experience with implementing and introducing new applications to users, including process gap analysis, prototyping, development of training materials, and providing end-user training (on-site and/or remotely)
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, both oral and written
  • Ability and willingness to travel internationally (approximately 5-10%)
  • Able to work one-on-one or in group settings with individuals of varying technical abilities and understanding
  • Experience with SQL and Business Intelligence tools is required
    • SQL Server development applications (i.e.: SSRS, SSAS, and SSIS)
    • Power BI
    • Data warehousing/cubes is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of ERP software applications, and business intelligence tools and concepts
    • Experience with any of the following is a plus:
      • Superlayer
      • RedHat Linux
      • Oracle databases
      • PostgreSQL databases
      • Oracle PL/SQL
      • T-SQL
      • XML and/or other API interfaces
      • Visual Studio


Working conditions are normal for an office environment.  Must be able to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods; able to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist and reach on a daily basis; able to perform general office administrative activities: copying, filing, delivering and using the telephone.
