The Senior Account Executive (SAE), within Clinical Trial Experience, plays a key role in managing client relationships and overseeing the execution of patient recruitment campaigns for clinical trials. This position requires a deep understanding of clinical research, client service excellence, and project management. The SAE will work closely with clients, internal teams, and external partners to ensure successful recruitment outcomes while driving innovation and strategic growth in the agency’s healthcare offerings.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development of strategic recruitment programs and other deliverables.
- Own workstreams and deliverables from inception through completion.
- Support budget tracking and help ensure that recruitment campaigns are executed within the allocated budget.
- Anticipate client needs for projects they own and proactively manage relationships.
- Support the team to ensure high-quality service and execution.
- Ensure recruitment strategies address the need for diversity and inclusion in clinical trials, targeting underrepresented patient populations.
- Utilize data-driven insights to optimize recruitment efforts and track performance.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to patient recruitment.
- Monitor and evaluate project performance, identifying areas for improvement.
- Nurture client relationships and identify growth opportunities.
- Maintain adherence to corporate policies, time tracking, and regulatory requirements.
Desired Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 2-3 years of communications experience, preferably in an agency setting, healthcare and/or patient recruitment experience preferred.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Interest in client services and project management.
- Ability to learn quickly and manage multiple deliverables.
- Working knowledge of multiple marketing disciplines (e.g., digital marketing, direct-to-patient marketing, customer acquisition/lead generation marketing, B2B marketing).
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
- A passion for creativity and a thirst for knowledge.
- An empathetic approach and experience in working effectively in a team.
The anticipated salary range for this position will be $70,000-$90,000. Salary is based on job-related factors such as: years of relevant experience, qualifications and/or certifications. Spectrum reserves the right to modify this pay range at any given time.
