Enterprise Account Executive – Storage Solutions

Spectra Logic is seeking a high-octane Enterprise Account Executive with strong knowledge of storage solutions to drive new business across the Southeast. This is a pure hunter role designed for a sales professional who excels at opening net-new accounts, building a pipeline from zero, and disrupting established territories.  Must have experience selling enterprise storage, backup, archive, or data management solutions
We are looking for a "Road Warrior" who believes that face-to-face engagement is the only way to build the trust necessary to close complex, multi-million dollar infrastructure deals.

Key Requirements

  • 100% Hunter Mentality: Proven track record of prospecting and closing net-new Fortune 2000 accounts.
  • Storage Domain Expertise: 5–10+ years of quota-carrying experience selling enterprise storage, backup, archive, or data management solutions.
  • Ecosystem Influence: Deep, existing relationships with regional VARs, SIs, and Alliance Partners.
  • Field Presence: Willingness to travel 60% for in-person customer meetings and partner events.
  • Strategic Execution: Ability to present a comprehensive 30/60/90-day territory plan focused on aggressive pipeline generation.

Core Responsibilities

  • Drive New Revenue: Prospect, qualify, and close enterprise-scale opportunities to expand the Spectra Logic footprint.
  • Strategic Partnering: Orchestrate complex, partner-led sales motions with VARs and OEMs to accelerate market penetration.
  • Pipeline Excellence: Maintain a robust, accurately forecasted pipeline with meticulous CRM hygiene.
  • Solution Leadership: Navigate long, multi-stakeholder buying cycles by positioning Spectra Logic’s value against hybrid-cloud and data growth challenges.
  • Executive Influence: Engage and convert C-level decision-makers through professional presence and technical credibility.

What Success Looks Like

  • Consistency: Reliable overachievement of quarterly and annual quotas.
  • Momentum: Continuous creation of high-value pipeline from previously untapped accounts.
  • Credibility: Becoming a trusted advisor to customers and a preferred partner within the local channel ecosystem.

Compensation & Location

  • OTE: $220,000 – $250,000 (Base + Commission).
  • Location: Must reside in Georgia or Florida, within one hour of a major airport.
  • Travel: 60% field-based.
