Compensation - $98,000 - $120,000 
Summary  
The Quality Manager is responsible for implementing continuous improvement activities. These may include: 
Participating in root cause, corrective action, and effectiveness verification activities. 
Developing, testing, and implementing effective and efficient product measurement methods and related quality records. 
Analyzing product quality performance using statistical tools and methods. 
Assisting with tool qualification and part approval activities, including first article inspection, capability studies, data analysis, and formal report preparation and submittal. 
Assisting with process validation activities, including product measurement and data analysis. 
Participating in Gage Repeatability and Reproducibility studies and FMEA activities. 
Conducting quality management system internal audits. 
Working with suppliers to improve quality and measurement correlation. 
Participating in Design for Manufacturability (DFM) reviews. 
Assisting with development and implementation of ISO 9001 documentation and records. 
Coordinating special projects as required

What you need to bring to the table: 
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
Strong organizational and problems solving skills. 
Three to ten years of industry experience. 
ISO 9001 expertise, including internal and external audits. 
Understanding of root cause analysis and corrective action processes. 
Knowledge of calibration. 
Ability to read and understand complex part prints. 
Basic knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (ANSI Y14.5). 
Knowledge of metrology and measuring tools including fixturing methods.

Education: 
Four-year degree (engineering or applied science preferred). 
It would be cool if you had: 
Lean and/or Six Sigma knowledge and experience. 
Knowledge of process validation and part approval processes. 
Knowledge of computer databases, spreadsheets, and CAD systems. 
Knowledge of SPC/SQC software and SQL. 
Travel: 
This position is projected to have three weeks of travel per year.
