Foreign Materiel Exploitation (FME) Technician
Location: Huntsville, AL
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Willbrook Solutions, an SAS company, is actively looking for a Foreign Materiel Exploitation (FME) Technician to join our team! In this role, you will join our team supporting a customer in Huntsville, AL. Mid-level up to Subject Matter Expert (SME) positions are potentially available dependent upon candidate experience and funding.
RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS:
In this role, you examine, disassemble, photograph, analyze and assess systems and subsystems to enable system/subsystem characterization and quantification of performance parameters. You will report your observations, findings, and analyses in written reports, presentations, and/or videos for the customer utilizing customer templates where applicable. You will participate in meetings to ascertain customer needs and to share progress, issues, opportunities, and successes.
REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, etc.)
- FME Experience
- Experience working with RADAR and/or weapon systems/subsystems
- Robust technical writing skills
- Initiative and are a team player
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Top Secret/SCI Clearance
- Reverse Engineering (RE) Experience
- Master's degree in a related field
- Working knowledge of ELINT and/or SIGINT
- An understanding of RADAR, Radio Frequency (RF) communications, and digital signal processing (DSP) theory
SECURITY REQUIREMENTS:
Active secret clearance is required with the ability to obtain a Top Secret/SCI clearance
Note: You must be a resident of the greater Huntsville, AL area or be willing to relocate to the greater Huntsville, AL area.
This position is contingent upon contract award.
