Your Role
As a Senior Contracts Administrator within SAS, you will play a key role in supporting our mission execution. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who is proficient in contract management. Your impact on the company will be realized through the following responsibilities:
- Contract Preparation and Management: Review, prepare, and manage contracts, agreements, amendments, and change orders, ensuring compliance with all terms and conditions of the FAR.
- Contract Administration: Maintain contract files and records, track deliverables and milestones, and reconcile data with finance and project management teams. Prepare and submit status reports, monthly project reports, CDRLs, and presentations to stakeholders.
- Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Collaborate with Project Managers to assess risks in contracts and related documents, recommend mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance with federal regulations (e.g., FAR, DFARS, DCAA, and DCMA requirements, etc.) and SAS internal policies.
- Proposal Development Support: Assist in the proposal process, ensuring proposal responses are in compliance with Requests for Proposal (RFPs) and Statements of Work (SOW
As a Senior Contract Administrator, your role will ensure that project execution aligns with SAS’s strategic objectives, influencing the company’s success and growth in the aerospace industry.

Key Qualifications
To qualify for this role, we require candidates to have the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in business management or related field
- Must have experience with Government, DoD, and/or commercial contracts in a Prime or Subcontractor role
- Must have experience and knowledge of the FAR, DFARS, DCAA, DCMA, etc.
- Assertive, proactive approach, with the ability to prioritize tasks to meet changing deadlines
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- CPCM certification is desired but not required
- Experience as a Major Aerospace prime preferred
- General Service Administration (GSA) schedule experience a plus
