Special Aerospace Services – Flight Factory (SAS FF) is an aerospace manufacturing company serving the commercial aerospace and private space sectors. Your Role
SAS FF’s manufacturing team is critical to executing our missions. As a machinist/programmer, you will play a critical role in significantly impacting the company and industry. To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following:
- 4+ years of CNC machine operating and programming experience
- GED required, trade school certificate a plus or equivalent experience
- In-depth knowledge of the operation on both 3 and 5-axis mills; lathe experience is a plus
- Ability to hold close dimensional tolerances .0002-.002
- Experience in creating custom fixturing
- Ability to interpret aerospace prints with a high amount of GD&T
- Capable of producing conforming parts to specification within the required time frame while maintaining all quality standards
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Familiarity with ISO9001 and AS9100 requirements
- Ability to lift 50lbs
We are most interested in candidates who also have the following:
- A passion and aptitude for learning, along with a great work ethic
- Experience in aerospace prototype machining
- Programming using Mastercam
- Experience with Dmg Mori and Okuma machines
- Ability to program and operate both mills and lathes
- Experience in an AS9100 and/or ISO9000-certified production environment
How You Will Be Rewarded
The annual salary for this role is $28.00/hr. - $42.00/hr. Compensation depends on the candidate’s work experience, education/training, and related skills.
