A day in the life of the IT Ecommerce Technical Lead is never the same but, in this role, you will provide technical leadership for SpartanNash's Ecommerce capabilities across multiple channels and business segments. The Technical Lead will be the main Information Technology point person responsible for the design, development, implementation, and support of Ecommerce capabilities at SpartanNash.

What You'll Do:

  • Serve as the technical lead for all digital commerce initiatives and projects, working across internal teams and external partners
  • Develop and deliver on technical roadmaps
  • Lead integration efforts between internal and external systems
  • Manage, coach, and mentor development staff
  • Establish technical support processes and procedures
  • Own PCI compliance throughout the SDLC process
  • Oversee development and conduct code reviews
  • Create overarching ecommerce architecture, encompassing ecommerce ordering, product data, user experience, and fulfillment systems
  • Establish technical standards and blueprints
  • Assist in troubleshooting complex technical issues

Sound Like You? Here's what you'll need:
  • Bachelor's Level Degree - BS In Information Technology or related combination of education/experience
  • 5 years' experience implementing and supporting digital commerce solutions, preferably in the grocery industry (Unata, Instacart, Freshop, ShopperKit experience preferred)
  • Experience wiring front end and back end systems together using API frameworks, either SOAP or REST
  • Experience leading a development team, including contractors (onshore or offshore)
  • Experience leveraging Agile as a delivery methodology
  • Experience managing software in a PCI compliance environment
