We support a multitude of technologies across the Microsoft stack, which include Azure, Office 365 and some on premises workloads.

Support Softcat and our clients to succeed.

Responsible for investigating support cases escalated by the service desk support team and managing them to resolution. Supporting Microsoft cloud technologies in line with customer requirements, alongside a small amount of project-based work focussed specifically around Azure.


  • Resolving support calls originating from managed services customers in line with the operations centre SLA’s.
  • Managing ticket updates to all customers, 3rd parties and vendors through to resolution
  • Meeting Key Performance Indicators (KPI) as set by the Cloud, OS & Apps Team Leader
  • Maintaining high levels of incident ownership through the incident lifecycle to a satisfactory customer resolution.
  • Working to ITIL best practices following agreed processes and procedures

What we need from you

  • Excellent customer service and written skills
  • Strong work ethic and the ability to work well within a team.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of supporting the full Office 365 stack (MS-030 beneficial)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure (AZ-900 or AZ-100 beneficial)
  • Ability to manage on premises Microsoft server technologies and roles.
