Your Role

As Cisco Technical Account Manager, you will work closely with the Cisco Customer Success Manager, Account Managers, Specialist team and Services to help guide customers on their Software adoption strategy. You will proactively contact existing Softcat software customers to understand their current adoption plans, help them to create future adoption plans and assist where possible including recommending billable services where applicable.  As an active member of this team you will build relations with key stakeholders at Customers, Cisco and Softcat, whilst helping drive our post-sales adoption for Cisco Software customers. The position will have travel requirements to customer sites, Cisco’s Head Office and Softcat’s regional offices. Out of region applicants will be considered based on the strength of the candidate.

As a specialist resource you will be expected to have working knowledge of Cisco Software products, their usage, application, and best adoption practices.  You will not be required to perform technical consultancy but are expected to hold your own in technical conversations with customers, giving advice or enlisting further technical resource where required.

  • Confidence to work in a customer facing capacity
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Willingness to travel
  • Self-motivated and determined with a focus on the highest levels of customer service and an enthusiasm for learning, innovating, and delivering solutions
