SoFi is seeking a Strategic Partnerships Manager to join us as we continue to rapidly expand our innovative partnerships across multiple verticals. You will be tasked with supporting the strategy of our business lines by delivering value to customers through meaningful partnerships. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and other company-wide stakeholders on a daily basis. You will be involved in supporting the identification and sourcing of new partners, complex deal negotiation, onboarding and ongoing relationship management of critical new and existing partnerships that will drive business goals.
What you’ll do:
Project-manage the implementation of new partners in an efficient, scalable, and high quality manner
Develop strong relationships with partners, providing product launch strategy, marketing resources, performance and utilization data, coaching during new product/feature launches, and help resolving any product issues or concerns
Coordinate among multiple internal teams to launch and manage partnerships, teams include marketing, engineering, and compliance
Identify incremental opportunities that map directly to each partner’s needs and/or pain points and initiate & drive partnership growth conversations with the client
Support in Identifying, negotiating, and executing complex strategic partnerships with a wide array of partners across industry verticals.
Work closely with marketing, product, engineering, operations, and business units to identify impactful opportunities and drive partnerships to execution.
Function as the representative face of SoFi at trade shows, events, and partner presentations
Independently manage time and tasks in a complex environment
What you’ll need:
Bachelor’s degree, MBA preferred
5+ years of demonstrated success in business development or enterprise sales that resulted in user and revenue growth via partnerships.
Highly analytical, strategic thinker and data driven, but also a creative problem solver and innovator.
Motivated, self-starter with the ability to effectively manage multiple deliverables.
Ability to make thoughtful, actionable recommendations under minimal structure, and quickly build consensus with senior level internal and external stakeholders.
Collegial, high energy, and persistent, with excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
Ability to translate data insights into actionable business strategies.
Entrepreneurial focus with a determination to succeed in an innovative, fast-paced environment
Ability to work across engineering, marketing, and business teams Systems Knowledge: Salesforce.com, high proficiency with Excel
Strong communication, analytic, and listening skills, with a positive approach
Self-starter and hardworking, with a track record of success and drive for achievement
