The role

We’re seeking a savvy, intellectually curious, and dynamic self-starter to join our team as Web Optimization Manager. You’ll be part of our Web Strategy team, which is responsible for creating a best-in-class experience for our visitors and members.

You will report to our Director of Web Strategy and you will drive, develop, and execute the program for experimentation on SoFi.com.

Our goal is to be the center of our members’ financial lives, and to help every member get their money right - and our website is essential to that goal.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead, manage, and execute the program for experimentation across Sofi.com, our marketing website

  • Create a scalable process to generate data-backed hypotheses and ideas for testing in collaboration with key stakeholders

  • Execute and project manage all tests, while building repeatable, consistent processes and best practices for test execution

  • Develop reporting to highlight key test findings and a way to share results with stakeholders consistently, including the creation of a knowledge database of test plans and results

  • Partner with Martech team to improve and iterate on the testing platform as well as data capabilities

What you’ll need:

  • 5+ years proven experience managing and executing web experiments, specifically A/B testing

  • Deep experience managing cross-functional partners and multiple stakeholders 

  • Comfortable presenting complex topics to senior leadership 

  • Superior communication skills, both verbally and electronically with demonstrated examples of relationship-building across a highly matrixed organization

  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, and resourceful

  • Ability to work under pressure, handle changing and multiple priorities 

  • Intermediate understanding of HTML, Javascript, and CSS

  • Experience with Optimizely or similar testing platform

  • Experience with Google Analytics, or a similar analytics tool, or a strong desire to learn and become certified in GA

  • Experience working with CMS (content management systems) with Wordpress, Contentful, etc.

  • Familiarity with various project management systems, such as Agile, Kanban

  • Must have experience with JIRA

  • Experience working for financial service company a plus, but not required
