The Role

Our MBA Internship Program is an 10-week paid internship that will give you the opportunity to make a direct impact on our company. You’ll be working closely with our world-class team and business leaders to help SoFi develop, implement and continuously improve our offerings. Interns are given a lot of responsibility and the opportunity to give a meaningful contribution to their teams. By applying for this program, you’ll be considered for multiple functions. We will be reviewing applications and interviewing candidates on a rolling basis through April 2020.

Interns will partake in one to three projects, receive mentorship and have the opportunity to hear from our leaders through our Executive leadership speaking series. Interns will be considered for potential full-time opportunities in their host organizations based on their internship performance.

Possible Areas of Focus 

  • Strategy: Build, deliver and implement analytical insights to the leaders you’ll support in order to help our product’s innovation, strategy and vision move forward. Review strategic initiatives with leaders and recommend concrete outcomes.

  • Product Management for Lending and Non-Lending Products: Build products that help our members achieve financial independence. Within product, you’ll work on new technologies, platforms, consumer facing products, and/or enterprise systems. 

  • Finance: Whether it’s identifying acquisitions and investments, monetizing strategies for products or modeling SoFi’s short- and long-term growth, our Finance department drives SoFi forward. From advising our product teams to managing day-to-day balance sheets, you’ll help keep our business on track to meet our goals.

What You’ll Need:

  • Currently completing the first year of a full-time MBA program

  • Ability to complete a 10 week program beginning in June 2020

  • Interest in the FinTech industry

  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills and independent motivation.

  • Excels in project management, interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to drive and implement ideas in a changing environment

  • Analytical skills, and ability to solve highly strategic and difficult business problems
