SoFi is looking for someone data-driven and self-motivated who believes in our mission of helping people achieve their financial ambitions to join our Member Business Unit as Business Operations and Strategy manager. In this role you will help set and measure progress against key business objectives and performance metrics, develop the approach to achieve our objectives, optimize the operations of the business, and provide critical guidance, insights, and frameworks across teams. The candidate will have the leadership, maturity, and experience in delivering pragmatic operational solutions and data-driven insights in a high growth dynamic environment. This role requires strong analytical skills, and collaboration and leadership across functions and businesses to be successful.

The Member Business Unit is responsible for putting the SoFi Member, or customer, at the center of everything we do in pursuit of fulfilling our mission of helping Members “get their money right.”
What you’ll do:
Lead strategic planning for the Member Business Unit, including support for establishing priorities and objectives across the business, and tracking progress against those priorities and objectives to drive SoFi’s mission
Lead business insight efforts for the Member Business Unit, working closely with Data Science to better understand our key performance indicators, iterate on them, and tease out insights to further drive the business in support of SoFi’s mission
Lead, support, or represent the Member Business Unit in high priority Member initiatives or cross-functional projects, working closely with each function to drive the initiative forward
Work cross-functionally to solve complex challenges with uncertain inputs and outputs
Outline key dependencies, constraints, assumptions, and risks relating to overall business operations and processes
Evaluate and help optimize the operations of the Member Business Unit and related cross-functional initiatives
What you’ll need:
Passion for our mission of helping people achieve their financial goals
2-5 years of experience in a top-tier consulting firm, investment bank, or high growth business in an analytical capacity
Familiarity with financial services, consumer business, technology in private and/or public companies
Advanced proficiency in data analytics, and tools such as Google Suite and MS Office applications
Ability to influence and drive cross-functional initiatives
A clear communicator with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent time and project management skills with the ability to build strong cross-functional relationships and work collaboratively
Inquisitive nature, attention to detail, diligence and a good attitude
Methodical, self-starter, hands-on
Strong analytical and organizational skills
