SoFi’s Business Development Partnerships Success Team is seeking a Manager to join us as we continue to grow our SoFi at Work corporate benefits program across multiple verticals.
You’ll work within our Business Development team to facilitate the smooth transition of employer, association, advisor and consultant partners from the sales cycle to implementation and continued engagement. This role will be responsible for managing mid/large cap employers across a few key industries (Tech, Financial Services, Law, Medical). In addition to actively managing a book of business, you will also be responsible for actively working cross functionally to support new partner launches, business analytics, internal marketing strategy, and performance and utilization data. This position reports to the Head of Partnership Success.
What you’ll do:
As a Manager, you’ll share responsibility for our partners’ success, yielding tangible metrics and outcomes and continued expansion of the SoFi relationship.
Support the Partnerships team with project management for new SoFi at Work platform implementations in an efficient, scalable, and high-quality manner.
Work with stakeholders across SoFi to track and resolve product issues or concerns.
Drive sales cycles through orchestrating internal teams of pre-sales, implementations, product, marketing and sales support.
Use consultative selling skills to initiate long-standing relationships and drive upsell within the current portfolio of clients
Increase engagement with partners with marketing activities including onsite and online educational presentations to partners, producing and updating marketing communications and collateral, etc.
Set, track and report on partner performance metrics and drive partner strategy and engagement based on your data-driven findings.
Develop a comprehensive understanding of typical business challenges faced by partners and common objectives to appropriately map SoFi at Work associated employee benefits to address their needs.
Analyze team business processes to identify areas of improvement, propose efficiencies, and oversee solution implementation.
Track and analyze partner launches to identify patterns and learnings, develop best practices, and present findings to the team.
Identify solutions to address with clients to develop and maintain long-term relationships with stakeholders in your account portfolio.
What you’ll need:
3+ years’ experience on an account management team and/or directly managing clients
Entrepreneurial focus with a determination to succeed in an innovative, fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail. This role requires an analytics-driven individual capable of digging into our processes and data.
Strong knowledge of business processes (HR, Sales, Marketing) with experience driving metrics-oriented outcomes
Knowledge of SoFi products and platform features, capabilities, and competitive advantage
Flexibility for travel (approximately 10%)
Systems Knowledge: high proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint, Salesforce.com
Strong written and oral communication skills
Self-starter and hardworking, with a track record of success and drive for achievement
A team player, quick thinker, and a fast learner
Nice to have:
Experience in the affinity benefit space developing offerings for large affinity groups with knowledge of joint marketing and royalty agreements
Experience selling corporate benefits and/or financial products as an outward facing representative of the company
