The Role

SoFi is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager for Home Loans to join our talented team in the Dallas (TX) office. Program Managers act as a business, operations, engineering and product liaison with the executive leadership team to ensure that the programs are managed in accordance with business needs and goals. The ideal candidate is a hands-on, articulate and focused program manager, who has experience in driving technical programs and provide technical leadership and insights to programs.

What You'll Do:

  • Manage development life-cycle from project requirements to deployment.

  • Manage programs and deliverables, and design, deploy, and engineering effectiveness.

  • Facilitate the definition of done project scope, deliverables, and goals

  • Lead cross-functional remote delivery teams to ensure deliverables are met 

  • Manage project budget, monitoring and reconciliation processes

  • Track project performance against defined milestones/goals

  • Assess project risks, identify contingency actions, and develop/manage a risk plan

  • Conduct process improvement projects to increase performance in vital program metrics

  • Determine completion criteria for each deliverable and develop acceptance plan

  • Communicate ongoing project health with key stakeholders and business leadership

  • Maintain strict compliance with established project management policies and guidelines

  • Take initiative and produce timely results in a fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous environment

What You'll Need

  • BS Degree or equivalent

  • 5+ years’ experience in a technical leadership role in the mortgage industry

  • Experience training, motivating, monitoring and coaching teams of employees
