As part of our team, you’ll be instrumental in helping people achieve financial independence to realize their ambitions. Our products for borrowing, saving, spending, investing, and protecting give our nearly one million members fast access to tools to get their money right. SoFi Money – our latest innovation to disrupt the financial services industry – allows our members to earn a high interest rate while having 24/7 access to their money via our website, mobile apps, and the SoFi Money Debit Card.

What you’ll do:

We’re looking for senior front-end, back-end, and full-stack engineers who are comfortable:

  • Delivering scalable highly-available services and/or creating responsive, performant, and maintainable React-based web apps

  • Identifying, architecting, and owning technical solutions for product requirements and user stories

  • Participating in code and design reviews

  • Mentoring junior engineers

  • Generating ideas for new initiatives and technologies

  • Working in a fast-moving, highly-collaborative environment across multiple offices

What you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or relevant work experience

  • 4+ years experience writing well-tested and maintainable code using Java and/or JavaScript, React, HTML, and CSS

  • Ability to architect, deliver, and maintain critical aspects of complex systems

  • A deep understanding of relational databases and RESTful services, as well as how clients interface with them

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies as well as software testing: unit, integration, and end-to-end

Nice to have:

  • Full-stack engineering experience, or willingness to expand your skills across our entire stack

  • Experience with Spring Boot, Kafka, Elasticsearch, Redis, Kubernetes, Docker, cloud infrastructure, and continuous delivery

  • Interest in personal finance

  • Experience managing your own investments and taking out loans
