Sales Engineer - Mid Central
Description
Reporting to the Sales Engineer Manager, the Sales Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support to our customers who purchase and install Snap One products. This role requires and individual with strong technical acumen and a background in relationship building. The Sales Engineer will continuously educate our customers on how to build robust automation projects, avoid costly pitfalls, maximize the capabilities of our products, and drive revenue ensuring that together we are delighting end-users. The Sales Engineer should have excellent presentation skills, both live and virtual, with the ability to constantly assess the needs of the customer.

Specific Responsibilities
· Work alongside the sales teams to increase productivity through engagement, training, onsite support, and follow up
· Assist in the onboarding of new accounts through hands on activities that ensure a successful and accelerated ramp up with Control4 product sales
· Perform onsite inspection and support of consumer projects as needed and directed
· Provide onsite support for training, project design, and more with dealers as needed
· Ability to communicate and collaborate with both technical and business leaders
· Effective internal communication regarding customers, products and services
· Ensure continued customer satisfaction, build and maintain customer relationships and follow up with company resources to make sure sales support is received
· Capable of multi-tasking and self-managing day-to-day scheduling
Required Qualifications
· High School Diploma or equivalent
· 5+ years’ experience in sales or customer facing role
· 4+ years’ experience with various control products
· Demonstrated track record of proven business results
· Demonstrated system design and hands on installation skills
· Problem-solver with strong client/executive relationship management abilities
· Willing to travel 75% of the time
· Active and clean driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree
· Control4 or PCNA certified
· Advanced control4 training and certifications
