Description

The Program Manager will report to the Sr. Manager of Program Management and be responsible for leading the new product development cycle for multiple hardware and software products within Snap One. The ideal candidate must possess a rare blend of business and technical savvy, a big-picture vision while being able to remain tactical, a drive to make that vision a reality and the ability to influence team members cross functionally. This individual must also possess a customer first mindset with a bias for action.  A successful candidate must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment that is goal oriented and emphasizes accountability for delivering results.

 

Specific Responsibilities

  • Work with Engineering (Hardware and Software), UI/UX, Product Management, Marketing, Operations, and Partner vendors to create / manage detailed and comprehensive product development plans.
  • Build dependency-based comprehensive schedules, driving the dynamic critical path items as efforts progress through the development lifecycle.
  • Maintain, track, and update program risks, upcoming milestones, and team priorities while ensuring cross functional alignment and agreement.
  • Coordinate and facilitate cross functional solutions to manage constraints and mitigate risks, all the  while keeping development commitments on track.
  • Communicate issues in actionable form leadership.
  • Plan, prioritize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree and 2+ years' experience managing complex development projects through the full product development lifecycle.
  • Ability to translate complex technical issues to a non-technical audience.
  • Strong planning and analytic problem-solving skills.
  • Strong sense of ownership with a bias toward delivering results.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, and MS Project Web.
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering.
  • Experience working with JDMs and international suppliers.
  • Experience with Hybrid Product Development (Agile and Waterfall).
