We’re looking for a passionate social media marketer that will help Smarsh grow, engage, and mobilize its community of social media followers. This candidate needs to live and breathe the latest trends in social media marketing. This role reports directly to the VP of Brand and Digital.
Execute strategies that drive social media conversions and overall traffic to smarsh.com, leveraging both paid and organic tactics
Write and post timely, engaging, and informative content to support initiatives for corporate communications (press releases, event promotion), demand generation (webinars, content marketing) and thought leadership (blogs, videos) across Smarsh social properties
Develop creative and engaging social programming that contributes to marketing campaign performance
Provide social listening and rapid-response community engagement, and leverage rapid-response framework/escalation path for sales opportunities and customer escalations
Manage cross-functional organic social media calendar
Partner with sales to help nurture relationships and shorten sales cycles with target accounts and stakeholders via social
Build relationships with key social influencers and help create awareness for Smarsh, its product portfolio and value propositions with key stakeholders
Partner with creative services to create compelling, multimedia content to share
Monitor competitors, partners and relevant influencers in our space and surface themes and opportunities
Contribute to efforts to help fortify Smarsh profile on additional digital channels such as Wikipedia
Determine KPIs and report regularly on attainment
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing or a related field
4+ years of working experience in social media marketing; B2B SaaS, financial services industry experience a plus
Demonstrated knowledge of B2B tech social media best practices
Experience with social media publishing, amplification, and analytics applications
Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate
Highly analytical and results-oriented; use insights to consistently improve the performance of our social media channels
Deep understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics
Experience conducting audience and buyer persona research
Self-motivated, customer-focused, with a sense of humor
