Presales SOLUTIONS ENGINEER

With 6,500 customers world-wide, including 8 out of 10 of the world’s largest financial institutions, Smarsh is a recognised leader in communications archive, supervision and e-discovery.

In order to support our continued growth, we are seeking a senior Presales Solutions Engineer to join our International sales team in London.

This is a high-impact role, that offers the right candidate an exciting opportunity to play a key part in shaping the success of Smarsh in Europe, working with some of our most prestigious enterprise clients, partners and new-logo accounts.

Familiar with managing the technical aspects of large-scale transformational projects, you can roll your sleeves up and team with sales, partners, product management, engineering, services and support functions plus the client!

 Willingness to spend three days in London plus the flexibility to travel and work from home.

Primary responsibilities

Manage and own the technical aspects of the sales-development cycle and close plan;

To identify and develop technical champions within our customers and prospects;

Manage and own the technical aspects of the sales cycle and close plan;

Gather customer technical and business requirements to ensure accuracy and alignment with Smarsh solutions and services;

 

Develop customised demonstrations for the customer buying persona’s that includes IT, legal and compliance as examples with support from Smarsh’s domain experts;

Direct sales & partner enablement;

Run POC’s and evaluations ensuring success criteria is met obtaining the technical win while conveying  knowledge and enthusiasm for Smarsh solutions;

Support completion of RFPs and RFIs and similar;

Work with Product Management and Marketing to provide market and sale feedback.

Experience

Fully up to speed with communications and the modern digital workplace, including social and collaboration technologies — in both cloud and on-premise deployments — such as Microsoft Teams, Office 365, Slack, Symphony, Facebook, Twitter and Cisco WebEx Teams;

Familiar with information governance, archiving, eDiscovery and supervision;

Knowledge of Enterprise networking technology, telephony and IP connectivity;

A good understanding of cloud, the technology, security and what makes it scalable, performant, open and extensible.
