Essential Functions/Responsibilities

  • Be the Expert for Cybersecurity & Risk Management: Monitor industry trends and meet with customers to understand when and why regulated organizations monitor their infrastructure for compliance. Identify buyer personas and use cases, particularly in financial services, where Smarsh should invest cybersecurity and risk management efforts.
  • Collaborate to Drive Share Growth: Work with a range of teams (product, sales, SEs, demand generation, etc.) to maximize attach rate of Entreda cybersecurity and Privva risk management offerings in existing Smarsh accounts and win new footprint for attaching our archive offerings.
  • Help Accelerate Sales Velocity: Support the creation of enablement materials – training and content – that empower field teams to find opportunities, engage leads, and position the outcomes we deliver.
  • Create High Impact Content: Craft buyer’s journey content and web copy that drives engagement, creates pipeline and showcases our differentiation: data sheets, customer decks, etc.
  • Serve as a Smarsh Ambassador: Engage with analysts, press and prospects – directly and via social media (e.g. blogs, podcasts and webinars) – to amplify the value of Smarsh.
  • Enable GTM Agility: Prepare quarterly business reviews that look at various data points (bookings, ARR, pipeline, web engagement, customer / sales feedback, product fit, competitive motions, etc.) and suggest refinements to our SMB approach so we constantly focus on highest ROI efforts.


Education and Experience

  • College Degree.
  • 7+ years’ experience in B2B Product Marketing or related marketing discipline.
  • Understanding of SaaS, end point security, cybersecurity and ransomware is critical.
  • Experience marketing to financial services or other regulated industries is a plus.
  • Understanding of the demands of Broker Dealers and Retail Investor Advisors.


Additional Eligibility Qualifications

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including copywriting.
  • Proven experience in creating compelling messaging focused on Why Us and Why Now.
  • Excellent critical thinking, analytical, and quantitative skills.
  • Ability to translate technical capabilities into customer outcomes and identify differentiation.
  • Excellent market research skills and a passion for communicating the voice of the customer.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional projects and collaborate with multiple internal stakeholders.

This position will require up to 25% travel in support of customer meetings, industry events and internal business planning / review sessions.
