Overview of the role:

This role is responsible for driving effective fleet maintenance planning, from forecasting and budgeting to vendor coordination and technical reviews to ensure safe, compliant, and optimized aircraft availability. If you are an M2-licensed AME with strong business jet experience and enjoy translating technical requirements into executable maintenance plans, this role offers broad exposure and ownership across the fleet lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate forecasting and planning for all scheduled maintenance in accordance with the approved internal/external maintenance programs, company policy, procedure and contractual agreements. 
  • Schedule/reschedule work as necessary in accordance with approved procedures to ensure most efficient use of resources, tooling and facilities across all bases
  • Able to research, read and comprehend aircraft maintenance manual in order to provide accurate estimate of labor and parts required for specific tasks
  • Complete regular reviews of Airworthiness Directives and Service Bulletin as required.
  • Review work scopes and vendor proposals for accuracy and present to stakeholders 
  • Prepare annual maintenance budgets and present to stakeholders.  
  • Review technical documentation and maintenance releases to ensure technical dispatch procedures are followed.  
  • Track aircraft deferrals (MELs, CDLs) and ensure timely resolution.  
  • Maintain fleet AOG history and support onboarding/offboarding.  
  • Assist Manager with various tasks 

Qualification and Skills Required:

  • Completed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer program or equivalent
  • Valid M2 Transport Canada AME License.  
  • 7+ years in aircraft maintenance, with business jet experience.  
  • Proficient in maintenance tracking systems and Microsoft 365.  
  • Strong knowledge of CARs and maintenance coordination.  
  • Excellent organizational and customer service skills.
