Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, the Director, Sales Intelligence will be responsible for all aspects of lead generation, prospecting, reporting, analysis and modeling related to sales.  The successful incumbent will develop, manage and engage a team to deliver best in class support to drive sales activities across all lines of business within the organization. In addition, he/she will actively collaborate with the Chief Commercial Officer to continue to drive growth, goal achievement and success for the organization. 


  • Build, manage and lead a team of cross functional Inside Sales Representatives to target leads and grow the business;
  • Establish short and long term goals to deliver sales results in collaboration with the CCO:
  • Responsible for implementation and ongoing development of processes and reporting to ensure success for the Sales Intelligence and outside sales team;
  • Establish and monitor key metrics, ensuring proactive measures are in place to support overall sales strategy (short and long term);
  • Analyze business and market data to clearly identify sales targets for each of the organization’s distinct lines of business;
  • Liaise with and support the outside sales team by linking the company’s product focus in a meaningful way;
  • Establish strong interdepartmental communication and accountability plan to ensure best in class support and data analysis;
  • Partner with the Client Relations organization to ensure seamless transition from “prospect to new client”;
  • Prepare presentations for executive management and Board level meetings;
  • Responsible for effective management of employees, including driving performance management initiatives, succession planning, headcount management and other HR initiatives;
  • Develop, coach and mentor direct reports and continue to build a highly engaged, high performing team; ensure continuous development of leadership bench strength.


  • Post-secondary diploma or degree together with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a management role;
  • Previous experience in the aviation industry is required;
  • Proven track record of achieving business and financial results;
  • Sound and proven experience working with analytics and data modeling;
  • Superior interpersonal / relationship skills;
  • Excellent communication skills – both oral and written;
  • Strong leadership skills including ability to manage, coach and drive performance;
  • Flexibility required to support a dynamic organization; may be required to work irregular hours and be on call as required;
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce and a high proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of programs is required.
