Responsibility

  • SoC design of eSSD controller:
    • SoC Architecture for the best-in-class performance
    • Architecture to implementation (Logic synthesis, P&R, STA, ATE, FA)
  • Leading technical discussion among design engineers, verification/FW/System-Engineering/HW/planning teams for collaboration
  • Managing a team with multi functions

Qualifications

  • MS/Ph.D in either electrical engineering or computer science
  • Minimum of 20 years of work experience in ASIC design
  • Minimum 10 years of work experience in eSSD controller design
  • Minimum 7 years of management experience for a team with >30 members
  • Strong expertise in;
    • eSSD controller architecture
    • Industry standards (NVMe, PCIe, OCP, etc.) and features (IOV, ZNS, etc)
    • eSSD qualification flow and customer engagement
    • ASIC design Flow (FE : RTL, Synthesis, STA) and physical implantation (BE : P&R, EM/IR)
  • PCIe/NVMe, NAND, DRAM specification and their operations
  • Strong experience of SoC design with TSMC 12nm/7nm technology
  • Fluent communication/presentation skill for global operation
