Job Overview
The Sales Account Manager will report to the AI KAM Team Leader and is responsible for the generation and management of sales activities for the assigned accounts, promoting SK Hynix’s Memory product lines. Responsibilities include business development, revenue generation, forecast management, analysis of market competitiveness, and price negotiation. A strong sense of account ownership is essential as well as a proven record of exceeding sales targets and developing new opportunities. A background in selling technology-based products to OEM customers and experience in selling memory products is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Manage DRAM/NAND business in the assigned account/s
- Develop strong relationships with customer procurement, marketing, planning, and engineering teams
- Understand customer needs and be able to anticipate, act on, and communicate these needs effectively
- Explore opportunities to expand the relationships by exploring and developing new business opportunities
- Manage overall sales process including:
- Achieve monthly revenue generation goals by working with customer procurement teams both locally and WW as needed
- Coordinate alignment to and delivery of the WW DRAM / SSD forecasts
- Ensure alignment to marketing, product planning and enabling activities to support the business
- Manage product life-cycle activities including EOL and LTB activities
- Analyze customer demand trends and provide pro-active feedback to influence product manufacturing plans and price negotiations
- Prepare customer analysis reports including market intelligence and TAM/SOM analysis
- Lead and orchestrate necessary SKH engineering groups and technical marketing teams to drive NPI and requirements. Project management for NPI.
- Prepare, facilitate, and present at customer meetings as needed
Qualifications:
- 7+ years experience in technology sales, program management, marketing, procurement, or planning
- Bachelor’s degree / technical degree preferred
- Ability to plan and manage at both the strategic and operational levels.
- Outstanding selling abilities and excellent communication skills with customers and partners.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets
- Proficiency using CRM tools, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multinational organization
Total Rewards:
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is base $90,000 - $160,000. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related skills and experience.
