Description

The Facilities Specialist is responsible for maintaining the buildings and grounds, including management of vendors, providing services to Customers and completion of duties associated with Purchasing, Vendor Coordination, Project Management and stocking supplies for building maintenance to insure continuous Operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee Preventative Maintenance of All Equipment
  • Identify issues of concern in building operations
  • Develop proposals for redress and implement as appropriate.
  • Troubleshoot appliances, electrical, plumbing, HVAC and other systems and building.
  • Develop and execute repair plans, supervise vendors if required.
  • Coordinate with maintenance contractors & vendors to supervise and monitor HVAC, extermination, plumbing, appliance maintenance, electrical and other services.
  • Plan and perform basic building repairs, miscellaneous jobs and handyman work.
  • Maintain inventory of consumable facilities supplies for internal use.
  • Replace lighting, ballasts, plumbing fixtures, water filters and perform other regular maintenance as needed.
  • Perform a variety of preventive maintenance tasks.
  • On a daily basis, inspect and maintain the exterior premises (grounds, building, Fire and Regulatory Requirements)
  • Function as after-hours contact for alarm monitoring company
  • Responsible for overall office safety & security 
  • Understand evacuation procedures and be part of the Emergency Response Team
  • Support Remote Locations as needed to support Facility related needs.

Skills & Requirements

  • 7+ Years of experience as a Senior Facilities roles
  • Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and other construction trades
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed to manage repairs and services.
  • While performing the functions of this job, the employee is occasionally required to lift, carry, stoop, bend, kneel, climb, crawl, push, or perform other physical activities.
  • Customer/Team oriented, anticipating and responding proactively to the needs and concerns of others.
  • Communication skills (verbal, written) to gather feedback and get clarity on miscellaneous job duties and interact with staff and guests.
  • Ability to prioritize work, utilizing time and resources wisely.
  • Excellent organization and planning skills

Compensation:

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position $81,000 - $94,000 . Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related skills and experience.
