In the rapidly growing NAND Flash space amid the era of big data, this is an exciting time to be at SK Hynix NAND America. SK Hynix NAND America is looking for a talent that has a strong background and experience in Semiconductor Processes. The candidate will be working in the NAND pathfinding team to develop the next-generation NAND technology.  
  
    

Key Responsibilities:

  • Joining us as a Senior Principal/Principal Process Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving innovation in the development of 3D NAND technology. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Exploring innovative cell processes and integration technologies to ensure the next-generation NAND flash remains an industry leader in terms of cost, performance, and reliability.
  • Identifying issues and proposing solutions during the pathfinding process, from the initial concept stage to the sample qualification stage of the next-generation NAND flash.
  • Navigating design rule pathways to facilitate further scaling of NAND technology.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to address critical process module gaps and meet the defined goals.
  • Collaborating with diverse teams in other processes, process integration, simulation, circuit design, media architecture, and reliability to meet product requirements.
  • Taking on a mentorship role by guiding and instructing junior engineers while ensuring timely technology delivery.
  
 
 
 
Minimum Qualifications: 
  • 15+ years of relevant experience
  • 10+ years of NAND flash process experience
  • Strong expertise in NAND process, scaling, and device physics
  • High aspect ratio etch experience (preferred)
  • In-depth understanding of integrating 3D-NAND and peripheral components
  • Knowledge of different types of dry etch reactors, and plasma physics/chemistries
  • Understanding of mask alignment and overlap margin
  • Experience in managing vendor relationships and driving vendors for solutions.
  • Ability to explore/evaluate/develop new concept tools and new materials
  • Proficient in statistical data analysis and design of experiments
  • Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Demonstrated innovation and creativity  
    
    

Benefits:

  • The base salary range for this full-time position is: $182,000 - $257,000.
    • Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
    • Additional compensation may include annual bonuses, discretionary bonuses and benefits.
