Job Title : Staff/Sr.Staff Engineer - Logic Design

Location : Sacramento, CA or San Jose, CA

Job Type : Full-Time

In the rapidly growing NAND Flash space amid the era of big data, this is an exciting time to be at SK Hynix NAND America - come join our NAND Design team as a Principal Engineer and work on one of the most advanced 3D NAND technology products in the world.

SK hynix NAND Flash memory design is part of SK hynix NAND Development America for developing advanced 3D NAND products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for Designing and developing Logic and full-chip operation in 3D NAND Flash memory products
• RTL logic design and Firmware implementation for logic function in 3D NAND flash.
• Develop optimized algorithm to meet performance and area requirement.
• Participate in simulation, logic synthesis, static timing analysis. 
• Silicon debugging of logic functions and performance while working with product engineers and SSD interface engineers.

Minimum Qualifications for Sr. Staff Logic Design Engineer

• At least 6 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree
• Hands-on experience  in RTL design (Verilog), logic design flow. 
• Knowledge of NAND flash operation. NAND Design experience
• Knowledge on device physics or analog circuit
• Proficient at scripting languages (e.g. Perl or Python)

Minimum Qualifications for Staff Logic Design Engineer

• 1- 2 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree
• Hands-on experience  in RTL design (Verilog), test benches development, familiar with logic design flow.
• Understanding of scripting languages (e.g. Perl or Python)
• Exceptional New college graduate,  or someone with NAND product engineering experience are welcome to apply

Benefits:

• The base salary range for Staff lvl: $126,000 - $154,000
  • Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
• The base salary range for Sr. Staff lvl: $137,000 - $168,000
  • Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

• Additional compensation may include annual bonuses, discretionary bonuses and benefits.
