In the rapidly growing NAND Flash space amid the era of big data, this is an exciting time to be at SK Hynix NAND America - come join our NAND Design team as a Principal Engineer and work on one of the most advanced 3D NAND technology products in the world.

SK hynix NAND Flash memory design is part of SK hynix NAND Development America for developing advanced 3D NAND products.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for Designing and developing Logic and full chip operation in 3D NAND Flash memory products
  • Participate to develop and define logic features in 3D NAND flash in collaboration with SSD system group and array group.
  • Architect design structure, carry out RTL (Verilog) and Firmware implementation to meet function, performance and area requirement.
  • Run simulation. Perform Logic synthesis, static timing analysis, equivalence check.
  • Silicon debugging of logic functions and performance improvement while working with product engineers and SSD interface engineers, to deliver successful 3D NAND flash products on schedule.
  • Strong team player in cross functional group environment.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least 10 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree
  • At least 6 years of hands-on logic design experience in NAND flash memory
  • Experience of working together with system group and array group  
  • Hands-on experience in RTL design (Verilog), very familiar with full logic design flow
  • Solid knowledge of NAND flash memory operations and algorithm flow.
  • Proficient of scripting  languages (e.g. Perl, Python)
  • Experience of working together with system group and array group  
  • Strong communication skills with ability to convey technical concepts to peers

 

Benefits:

  • The base salary range for this full-time position is: $182,000 - $223,000.

    • Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

    • Additional compensation may include annual bonuses, discretionary bonuses and benefits.
