Description

The RPA Developer will create internal applications and integrations using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. This role is also responsible to integrate and automate processes through DB jobs, Robotics Process Automation, and APIs. The goal of the Solutions Team is to partner with internal business units to create applications that create efficiencies, generate new opportunities, and change the way Siteimprove does business.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Produce, modify, and maintain websites and web-based apps using a variety of technologies and development languages

  • Monitor the progress of the technical workflow and adjust as necessary to ensure the timely and successful completion of deliverables

  • Provide accurate, reasonable estimates and information for Scope of Work documents for work based on known requirements and technical limitations

  • Develop and test across multiple browsers, platforms, and devices, including smartphones and tablets

  • Maintain well-documented, reusable, and transferable code

  • Be responsible for your own professional development, including staying up to date on emerging trends, technologies, frameworks, and libraries

  • Be an independent, critical, and proactive thinker in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment

  • Aptitude for critical thinking with strong analytical and technical documentation skills

  • Possess excellent debugging and troubleshooting techniques

  • Performs other related duties as assigned

  • Expert-level knowledge of standards-based, front-end development languages with the ability to demonstrate valid hand-coded HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

  • Experience with Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and automated testing frameworks

  • Experience with SQL and no-SQL databases

  • Travel as needed; may include weekends

What We'll Love About You

  • Experience in all aspects of the web development life cycle

  • Knowledge of CMS integration, code libraries, Angular material, React, Git, and .NET frameworks

  • Experience with Node.js, MongoDB, Postgres, Oracle, and UiPath

  • Practice as a team leader guiding other developers

  • Understanding of cross-browser compatibility and accessibility support

  • 3+ years of experience developing for medium to large business websites utilizing a Content Management System

  • Advanced-level understanding of responsive web and relational database design

  • Ability to work within and understand Agile/Lean environments

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (including a strong understanding of proper grammar for technical and non-technical audiences)
