About the Role/ The Opportunity:

Sitecore is seeking a Senior Art Director to join a highly-engaged, high-performing marketing team. Reporting to the Senior Director, Design Studio, this role will help drive the evolution of our brand on our path to become a $1B company by up-leveling the brand experience across the end-to-end customer journey. We are looking for a seasoned multi-disciplined designer that’s obsessed with form and function. You have the experience and vision to help build an impactful global brand for our customers, partners, and our internal culture. You have experience in both print and digital design for B2B brands in a corporate environment and are energized about pushing the needle to digital. You must have a passion that drives you to learn and grow in the world of design. You are comfortable working alone but collaborating and sharing your work with others to make each other better. You appreciate brand guidelines, can help strengthen them, but also create unique design solutions when the need arises. You want to make bold, amazing, inspired work that drives great results for the organization.

What You’ll Do:

  • Take ownership of concepts, designing and presenting visual elements of creative work for new campaigns and initiatives, based on business strategy.
  • Create strong, collaborative partnerships with internal stakeholders and agency partners
  • Design and apply expert art direction to the digital and printed visual elements of creative projects, aligned to brand language.
  • Review work of internal/external designers and provide direction and feedback
  • Ensure a high standard of visual execution across all media and campaigns throughout the execution
  • Uncover new ways to incorporate emerging and new media formats into initiatives, partnering with the digital experience team to ensure a connected customer journey

What You Need to Succeed

  • Typically 10+ years relevant experience in the visual design of brand/print/web at an agency or in-house
  • Demonstrated track record showcasing your ability to generate a reliable supply of original ideas and visual concepts with the flexibility and willingness to adapt your ideas to the needs of internal clients
  • Strong knowledge of visual design, interactive design, brand development, and experience design
  • Content and/or brand strategy knowledge
  • Excellent communication, written, presentation, and organizational skills. Demonstrated confidence to explain and support your thinking, both internally and externally
  • Ability to lead and motivate internal and external teams
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, global environment while staying calm under pressure
  • An outstanding portfolio with details on your specific role and contribution
  • Proven understanding of social and paid media design and how to achieve results
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and other coding languages
  • Advanced expertise with typography, layout, and color choice, and a demonstrated ability to coach and develop others to resolve challenging design problems
  • Experience in photo art direction, video and motion design, illustration and animation
  • Advanced Adobe Creative Suite skills, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and ability to evaluate future tools for team productivity
