About the Role:
As a Software Engineer, you will be a member of the Product Support Services Team, responsible for assisting Sitecore’s implementation partners with best practices guidance, troubleshooting complex customisations, reverse engineering, and significantly contribute towards ramping up and developing the team. You will work with a team of businesspeople and technologists who are smart, experienced and great fun to be around.
Sitecore implementations are handled by their network of partners. Because of the complex nature of Sitecore’s products, their partners often need assistance in mapping customer requirements to implement best practices. The Software Engineer will work with partners to understand customer requirements and determine the proper implementation approach. In addition, the Software Engineer may troubleshoot implementations that are experiencing complex performance or functional issues. Ultimately, the Software Engineer solves problems that developer cannot solve
Sitecore will provide all necessary training on the Sitecore system.
What You’ll Do:
- Map customer requirements to implement best practices
- Work with partners to understand customer requirements and determine the proper implementation approach
- Troubleshoot implementations that are experiencing complex performance or functional issues
- Solve technical issues
What You Need to Succeed
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Experience working with Microsoft technologies, including C#, Visual Studio, SQL Server, IIS
- Outstanding problem solving and logical thinking skills.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and client-server software architecture
- Experience working with data structures and creating software algorithms.
- Experience troubleshooting software development projects.
Additional Skills That Could Set You Apart:
- Experience in frontend technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS
- Experience configuring load balancers and other network equipment
- Experience configuring Windows-based servers.
